Some baby cuteness is called for after the break-in post.

We are constantly comparing Viola to a menagerie of animals. An earthworm, because she is capable of eating and pooing at the same time. A horse, because she can fall asleep standing up (that is, while we hold her standing up). A camel, because she spits between squawks when she's hungry. And in the early days when we swaddled her in a light-green blanket, she was a glowworm. For a while I was comparing her squawks to those of a cat in heat, but then the neighborhood cats went into heat outside our window and reminded me that, no, that's a really creepy cat-only sound.

What cute annalogies. However, I think she is so special and unique that she deserves a catagory of her own. We could call it Violanessism.
